Position Summary The Service Coordinator supports customers by managing maintenance and warranty service requests. This is a detail-driven role requiring strong organizational skills, the ability to handle frequent interruptions, and a professional approach. Daily interactions include homeowners, builders, sales representatives, service technicians, and factory partners. The ideal candidate is precise, dependable, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a conservative, process-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Answer customer calls and diagnose issues with windows and doors
Schedule and coordinate service technician visits
Order and track parts/products to complete service events
Monitor service cases from start to finish, providing status updates to customers and team members
Assist walk-in customers with service needs and parts requests
Apply for warranty credits as appropriate
Handle customer collections with professionalism
Maintain commitment to accuracy, customer satisfaction, and established procedures
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent (project coordination or construction experience preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to thrive in a conservative, process-driven culture with frequent interruptions (calls, walk-ins, competing demands)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and quickly refocus after interruptions
Confidence communicating with customers on the phone and in person
Team-oriented mindset, while able to work independently and ensure follow-through
Comfort working with numbers, technical details, and established procedures
