Repackaging Associate



Louisville, KY 

1st Shift 

7am-330pm

$17.00/hr




Position Summary

The Repackaging Associate is responsible for inspecting, sorting, and repackaging glass products to ensure they meet company and customer quality standards. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to identify and remove defective products. The Repackaging Associate plays a critical role in maintaining product quality, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction by ensuring all products are properly inspected, packaged, and prepared for shipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Inspect glass products for defects, damage, contamination, or quality concerns.
  • Repackage products according to customer specifications and company standards.
  • Sort and reselect glass products to ensure only acceptable items are prepared for shipment.
  • Remove, document, and report defective or non-conforming products.
  • Maintain product traceability and accurate production records.
  • Follow established quality control procedures and work instructions.
  • Ensure packaging materials are used correctly and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel to meet production goals.
  • Assist with inventory handling, material movement, and other warehouse duties as needed.
  • Meet daily productivity, quality, and attendance expectations.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, packaging, or quality inspection experience preferred.
  • Ability to identify defects and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds safely.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions and manual handling of products.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing or warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
