We’re seeking a dynamic Branch Manager to lead, grow, and manage a growing staffing office. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, overseeing operations, client relationships, financial performance, and team development. The Branch Manager will drive business growth, ensure compliance, and create a culture of excellence, accountability, and customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do:
Strategic Leadership & Growth
Develop and execute business plans to acquire new clients, grow existing accounts, and increase revenue.
Collaborate with the Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive sales and market expansion.
Identify opportunities to win back lost clients and deepen client engagements.
Lead monthly financial reviews and contribute to short- and long-term growth strategies.
Client Relationship Management
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, operations, procurement, and HR issues.
Conduct regular client communications, site visits, and business reviews.
Maintain strong knowledge of client needs, workforce trends, and performance expectations.
Monitor client satisfaction and consistently achieve high Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
Operational Excellence
Oversee daily branch operations to ensure efficient workflows and quality service delivery.
Track key performance metrics, including fill rate, time-to-fill, and client retention.
Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and company standards, including I-9 verification and accurate job orders.
Financial Management
Own branch P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Monitor unemployment and workers’ compensation claims to mitigate risk.
Talent Acquisition & Team Development
Recruit, train, and mentor a growing branch team aligned with company culture.
Develop branch-level recruitment strategies and local partnerships.
Conduct monthly one-on-one coaching sessions to drive team performance.
Assist with recruiting to meet urgent client needs when necessary.
Compliance & Risk Mitigation
Ensure adherence to all employment laws and staffing regulations.
Conduct internal audits to maintain operational, legal, and financial compliance.
Oversee site safety evaluations and onboarding processes.
Promote a positive and compliant workplace culture.
Sales & Market Intelligence
Represent the branch at local events, job fairs, and industry conferences.
Analyze market trends, client demands, and competitor activity to guide strategy.
Drive digital recruiting initiatives and maintain a strong online presence.
What We’re Looking For:
3–5+ years of experience in staffing, recruiting, or branch operations, with proven team leadership.
Strong experience managing P&L, budgeting, and financial planning.
Ability to lead through change, inspire teams, and solve problems creatively.
Deep understanding of staffing compliance, labor laws, and safety regulations.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
