Exegistics Staffing is recruiting candidates for this role to support both 1st shift and 2nd shift operations.
Qualified candidates must be willing to complete an in-person interview with the client’s hiring manager as part of the selection process.

Pay Rate
  • $20.00 – $23.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Position Summary
The BOM Configuration Analyst supports client manufacturing and test operations by maintaining accurate system configuration and bill of material (BOM) records within customer-facing platforms. This role partners closely with Engineering to analyze test failures caused by configuration or BOM mismatches and executes controlled updates in web-based systems to align electronic records with the expected and physical product configuration.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong critical thinking skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to resolve complex, non-repetitive issues in a fast-paced production environment where no two failures are exactly alike.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review system and product test failures to determine whether root causes are related to configuration or bill of material discrepancies
  • Execute approved configuration and BOM updates within customer-required web portals and databases
  • Partner with Engineering to ensure configuration changes align with technical requirements, product definitions, and process controls
  • Validate that corrections enable successful progression through test and manufacturing workflows
  • Accurately document all actions taken, including failure type, corrective action applied, and verification results
  • Identify recurring configuration-related issues and provide trend data and insights to Engineering and operations teams
  • Adhere to established change control, data integrity, and access governance requirements
  • Support audit readiness through consistent documentation, traceability, and compliance with process standards

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant technical coursework preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, engineering support, quality, or operations environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgment across varied and complex scenarios
  • Proficiency using web-based systems and databases for data review, analysis, and updates
  • High attention to detail and accuracy when working with part numbers, quantities, and system attributes
  • Ability to clearly document work and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting electronics manufacturing, refurbishment, or repair operations
  • Familiarity with bill of material structures and configuration management concepts
  • Experience working within customer or OEM production systems
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including filters, lookups, and basic reporting
