Overview: With our state-of-the-art facility, our client is leading the bakery industry with relevant, bakery fresh products for a variety of our customers and applications. In this critical role, a Maintenance Technician facilitates safety, production, and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. This role will enjoy:

Schedule: 12-hour shifts working on a 2-2-3 schedule
Responsibilities: Essential Functions
Primary activities include but not limited to:
Analyzes/Maintains equipment and systems throughout the plant
Understands specifications
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines
Capable of following:
Diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications
Troubleshooting malfunctions
Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and good work practices
Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Must value safety as a deliverable.
Must have high school diploma or equivalent
Must have at least two years of maintenance experience in a production environment
Must be computer literate
Electromechanical troubleshooting (Ex: controls, components, control wiring diagnosis, etc.)
PLC diagnostics and experience preferred
Robotic control
Electrical field device/component troubleshooting and replacement
Mechanical comprehension and functional understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives and motors, bearings, fasteners and fittings, hardware
Controls knowledge preferred
Field device knowledge, such as smart eyes, photo eyes, micro switches, proximity devices, encoders, reed sensors, ultrasonic, retroflected and reflective etc. preferred
Electrical control safety devices and installations preferred
Process equipment control knowledge for troubleshooting and installations preferred
Schedule
Full-time position
2-2-3 rotating schedule, 5:00pm – 5:00am
Occasional overtime and weekend work as scheduled
