Job Description

1 WHSE Associate -Equipment Operator

JOB SUMMARY: Receive, unpack, check, and store product/material in the appropriate bin locations. Pull, pack, and ship products received by sales or customer service departments to meet customers’ requirements. Maintain a safe, healthy, and ethical work environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
? Ship, receive, store, and quality control customer orders in an accurate and timely manner.
? Unload products or supplies from delivery vehicles and ensure the product is stored in appropriate bin locations.
? Stack or pile materials in a safe manner.
? Assist in arranging daily product pickups with carriers.
? Load delivery vehicles with outgoing products or supplies.
? Pull and pack stored products for orders and move them to the shipping area.
? Assemble orders, and pallets, re-package products and handle will-call.
? Count items received or shipped and check against packing lists to ensure all required products are included; record any discrepancies.
? Visually inspect all items before packaging for shipment including Truck Line, UPS, DHL, CPUs, and Quest Courier.
? Prepare receiving or shipping paperwork and note any shortages or damages. Forward all the completed paperwork to the Administrative Assistant.
? Organize, stock, maintain, and organize bin locations.
? Scan parts and enter data into the Inventory Control System.
? Maintain knowledge of, and comply with, proper health and safety policies ensuring a safe working environment.
? Use the required safety devices and proper personal protective equipment.
? Notify management or the Warehouse Team Leader of unsafe conditions or practices.
? Keep the warehouse and chemical area clean and neat by performing housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
? Maintain effective working relationships and exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others.
? Maintain a high level of product and vendor knowledge.
? Conform with and abide by all established policies, work procedures, and instructions.
? Assume responsibility for accuracy and timeliness of work product.
? Mandatory participation and attendance at all physical inventory counts.
