Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Production Technician to support the development and manufacturing of high-performance permanent magnets. This role involves working with advanced equipment and processes in a dynamic environment. Ideal candidates have experience in manufacturing or laboratory settings and enjoy problem-solving and working with metals and machining equipment.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate and maintain furnaces, machining equipment, gloveboxes, and metal processing tools
• Execute test plans, record observations, and communicate results to team members
• Install, commission, and troubleshoot equipment
• Develop and follow documentation for experimental procedures
• Maintain safe work practices and comply with all safety standards
Qualifications
• Precision Manufacturing experience a must
• Experience operating manufacturing or laboratory equipment
• Familiarity with computers for data entry and analysis
Preferred Skills
• Experience with metals, powders, chemicals, gloveboxes, furnaces, and machining equipment
• Knowledge of basic metallurgy, machining, and/or chemical processes
• Strong technical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
