Exegistics is hiring a Forklift Operator for a leading distribution and warehouse operation in Fort Worth, TX. We're looking for experienced, safety-focused forklift operators who are comfortable operating multiple types of powered industrial equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Position: Forklift Operator - A Shift
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Shift:Sun-Wed
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Position Overview
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely loading, unloading, transporting, and storing materials throughout the warehouse. This role requires experience operating multiple types of forklifts, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting shipping and receiving operations while following all safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate multiple types of material handling equipment, including:
    • Sit-Down Forklift
    • Stand-Up Reach Truck
    • Cherry Picker
    • Electric Pallet Jack
    • Double Forklift
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
  • Move materials throughout warehouse and production areas
  • Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment
  • Transport products to designated storage locations
  • Perform inventory control activities, including cycle counts and stock replenishment
  • Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory movements
  • Conduct pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections
  • Report equipment maintenance or safety concerns promptly
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, and other warehouse duties as needed
QualificationsRequired
  • Previous experience operating multiple types of forklifts
  • Experience with sit-down forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, cherry pickers, and electric pallet jacks
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
Preferred
  • Forklift certification
  • Experience using RF scanners
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Inventory control and cycle count experience
  • Shipping and receiving experience
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
  • Operation of powered industrial equipment throughout the shift
