1st Shift Plant Maintenance Manager 




Job Summary:

The Plant Maintenance Manager is responsible for overall maintenance, repair and replacement of plant manufacturing equipment and the overall facility itself. This role is also responsible for preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement of process control systems across the plant.  




Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program. 
  • Conduct regular inspections of machines and equipment to identify and address wear, malfunctions, and other issues that may impact production efficiency. 
  • Coordinate and perform repairs, retrofits, and upgrades equipment to ensure optimal performance. 
  • Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks to align with production schedules, minimizing downtime and disruption. 
  • Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources. 
  • Ensure the maintenance of an inventory of critical spare parts and consumables. 
  • Evaluate and recommend equipment enhancements or replacements to improve efficiency and reduce long-term maintenance costs. 
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and performance metrics. 
  • Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement based on data analysis. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Excellent analytical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills. 

Education and Experience: 
  • Associate degree required. Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field preferred.  
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager in a similar manufacturing setting. 

·An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. 
  • Knowledge of safety regulations. 
  • Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and MS Office applications required.
