Position Overview
As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers and internal teams, ensuring orders are processed accurately, technical questions are addressed promptly, and customers receive outstanding support throughout the order lifecycle.

This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to understand and support technically advanced products used in specialized and mission-critical industries.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional customer support via phone and email
  • Assist customers with product inquiries, troubleshooting, and technical support requests
  • Interpret technical documentation and guide customers through issue resolution
  • Process purchase orders and maintain accurate customer records
  • Monitor customer orders and provide updates regarding production, shipping, and delivery status
  • Communicate proactively regarding delays, scheduling changes, and order updates
  • Coordinate closely with Planning, Shipping, Contracts, Finance, and Operations teams
  • Assist customers with invoicing, shipping, and administrative inquiries
  • Review customer terms and conditions and route issues appropriately
  • Maintain accurate information within customer portals and company systems
  • Log quote requests and perform general administrative tasks
  • Conduct customer screenings using approved compliance tools
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance customer satisfaction and order accuracy
Required Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of customer service, administrative support, order management, or related experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and technical aptitude
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR regulations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting technical products or manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
  • Experience using ERP systems (IFS experience preferred)
  • Associate degree or higher
  • Previous experience in order management, inside sales support, or technical customer service
