            <description><![CDATA[<br><br><br> <br><strong>Summary&nbsp;</strong><br> <br><strong>Brazing Technician</strong><br> <br><br><br> <br>This position exists to support overall manufacturing operations and requires a machine shop background. &nbsp;Ability to fabricate and assemble, mechanically and electrically OEM equipment. &nbsp; &nbsp; Individual carries out routine assignments and support in installation and troubleshooting as needed. &nbsp;This position will also perform routine quality tasks associated with AS9100 compliance, and handling of discrepant material. &nbsp;Responsibilities of the job include:<br> <ul><li>Cutting all required piping and pipe preparation.</li><li>Collecting the required parts based on pick lists.</li><li>Brazing sub-assemblies.</li><li>Assembling components and sub-assemblies and installing same into units.</li><li>Laying out piping routes in the unit including structural security.</li></ul><br><br><br> <br><br><br> <br><strong>Main Tasks and Key Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong><br> <br><br><br> <br>Responsibilities include, but not limited to:<br> <ul><li>Follow departmental procedures, company policies and instructions</li><li>Understand, interpret, and perform duties according to piping diagrams, prints, direction of flow, pipe sizing, location of components, etc.</li><li>Install refrigeration components such as compressors, evaporators, condensers, motors, blowers, and pumps</li><li>Install and connect piping and tubing for refrigeration and air conditioning systems</li><li>Perform pressure test, evacuate, and charge refrigeration system</li><li>Attend, understand, and observe trainings provided</li><li>Contributes, supports, and be a team player by accomplishing related tasks as needed &nbsp;</li><li>Perform additional duties that may be given or assigned from time to time or as needed due to the demand of business</li><li>Maintains safe and clean working environment according to OSHA and as instructed by the manager to comply with procedures, rules, and regulations</li><li>Work longer hours as needed and take time off if mandated</li><li>Observe all company policies and procedures and maintain professionalism and good performance</li></ul><br><br><br> <br><br><br> <br><br><br> <br><strong>Required Skills&nbsp;</strong><br> <br><br><br> <br>&bull;&nbsp;<br> <br>Knowledge of hand and power tools such as tube cutters/benders, files, tube reamers, pressure regulators, brazing techniques, vacuum pumps, and refrigerant charging<br> <br>&bull;&nbsp;<br> <br>Reading and interpreting schematics (drawings or diagrams)<br> <br>&bull;&nbsp;<br> <br>Safety management<br> <br>&bull;&nbsp;<br> <br>Decision making and judgement<br> <br>&bull;&nbsp;<br> <br>Communication skills &nbsp;<br> <br>&bull;&nbsp;<br> <br>Self-motivation skills<br> <br>&bull;&nbsp;<br> <br>Independent, but must be able to collaborate with team<br> <br>&bull;&nbsp;<br> <br>Analytical skills and problem solving skills<br> <br>&bull;&nbsp;<br> <br>Independent, but must be able to collaborate with team<br> <br><br><br> <br><br><br> <br><br><br> <br><br><br> <br><strong>Qualifications&nbsp;</strong><br> <br>&bull;&nbsp;<br> <br>Must be &ldquo;EPA 608 Universal&rdquo; certified<br> <br>&bull;&nbsp;<br> <br>HS Diploma required<br> <br>&bull;&nbsp;<br> <br>2+ years mechanical assembly experience, or related experience or degree preferred<br> <br>&bull;&nbsp;<br> <br>Certification to AWS B2.2/2.2M is a plus<br> <br>&bull;&nbsp;<br> <br>Refrigeration experience preferred<br> <br>&bull;&nbsp;<br> <br>3+ years brazing assembly experience<br> <br>&bull;&nbsp;<br> <br>Experience working in a fast paced, minimum supervision environment<br> <br>&bull;&nbsp;<br> <br>Recent graduates okay, but must be trainable and willing to learn<br> <br>&bull;&nbsp;<br> <br>Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and installation of refrigeration and heating systems<br> <br>&bull;&nbsp;<br> <br>Must be able to read basic and complexed diagrams, schematics, and/or diagrams<br> <br>&bull;&nbsp;<br> <br>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States<br> <br>&bull;&nbsp;<br> <br>Flexible for possible transfers due to demand of work<br> <br><br><br> <br><br><br> ]]></description>
