Exegistics is seeking a Transportation Lead for our client in the Columbia, MO area.

Must have one year of route driving experience
Must have at least 1 year of Leadership experience
Must have a current and valid CDL A with a clean driving record
Pay: Up to $27 hourly

Transportation Lead - Columbia, MO

PURPOSE:

§ Assist the Transportation Manager in managing routes and route drivers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

§ Assist manager in activities relating to distribution.

§ Promote teamwork among individuals under their supervision

§ Maintain a professional appearance and have the ability to communicate with employees and customers

§ Assist in overseeing maintenance of delivery vehicles

§ Assist in managing delivery schedule

§ Learn all aspects of an assigned route

§ DOT Compliance/FMCSA

§ Random drug screen checks

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

§ Class A CDL with a clean driving record

§ Have one year of supervisory experience

§ Be available to drive nights and weekends (relief driving) any shift if needed.

§ Be able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 700 lbs.

§ Meet all DOT and Company requirements (i.e., Drug Screen, Medical Certification, Physical Abilities Exam, etc.)

§ Ability to lift 45 pounds overhead

§ Basic computer skills and knowledge of basic computer software (i.e., Microsoft excel, word, etc.)
