We are seeking a motivated and experienced Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our high-performing team. This role is key to supporting production by ensuring efficient tooling operations, CNC programming support, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and maintain tooling, fixtures, and supplies for production.
Organize and manage inventory of hand tools, machine tools, and production equipment using inventory software.
Inspect and test tools and materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
Collaborate with the manufacturing engineering team on process improvements, tooling, fixturing, and CNC programming.
Monitor and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to tooling and inventory.
Troubleshoot CNC machinery (especially DMG machines) and related tooling issues.
Assist with preventive maintenance programs for production and facility equipment.
Contribute to cost reduction initiatives through lean practices and waste elimination.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment aligned with 5S principles.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing technician or process technician role.
Associate degree in engineering or technical discipline preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Proven CNC machine operation skills.
Strong knowledge of cutting tools, machining processes, and inspection instruments.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment is a plus.
Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 standards is a plus.
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Self-starter with a team-oriented, proactive approach to problem-solving.
