Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our high-performing team. This role is key to supporting production by ensuring efficient tooling operations, CNC programming support, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain tooling, fixtures, and supplies for production.
  • Organize and manage inventory of hand tools, machine tools, and production equipment using inventory software.
  • Inspect and test tools and materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing engineering team on process improvements, tooling, fixturing, and CNC programming.
  • Monitor and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to tooling and inventory.
  • Troubleshoot CNC machinery (especially DMG machines) and related tooling issues.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance programs for production and facility equipment.
  • Contribute to cost reduction initiatives through lean practices and waste elimination.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment aligned with 5S principles.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing technician or process technician role.
  • Associate degree in engineering or technical discipline preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Proven CNC machine operation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of cutting tools, machining processes, and inspection instruments.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 standards is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Self-starter with a team-oriented, proactive approach to problem-solving.
