National Account Sales Executive
Location: Remote / Travel Required
Compensation: Base Salary $120,000–$150,000 + Uncapped Commission + Potential Equity Opportunity

 

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Account Sales Executive to spearhead our growth in the logistics and transportation sector. This hybrid role combines the tenacity of a hunter with the strategic oversight of an account manager. The ideal candidate will be a polished professional, adept at engaging business owners and C-suite executives, identifying pain points, and delivering tailored solutions that transform challenges into long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development & Relationship Building: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across national accounts, establishing and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers. 
  • Consultative Selling: Utilize a consultative approach to understand client needs, present tailored logistics solutions, and negotiate contracts that align with client objectives. 
  • Project Management: Oversee the execution of logistics projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and client satisfaction.
  • Client Advocacy: Function as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless experience throughout the partnership.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement account strategies that drive revenue growth, enhance customer retention, and expand service offerings within existing accounts.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and customer service, to ensure alignment and successful delivery of solutions.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in national account sales within the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry, with a proven track record of success. 
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred, but not required
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attributes: Self-motivated, results-oriented, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset; ability to work independently and as part of a team; willingness to travel as needed.
