Job Posting: Warehouse Associate
Location:Murphysboro, IL
Schedule: 1st Shift (Tuesday – Saturday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $18.50/hour

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to pick, pack, and ship supplies and materials accurately and promptly to internal and external customers. This position also includes sorting, stocking, and transporting materials while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Transport incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas using tools such as hand dollies, forklifts, electric dollies, pallet jacks, and elevators.
Perform quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products.
Sort and organize materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to inventory procedures.
Pick, pack, and ship materials and products efficiently and accurately.
Process shipments, including affixing shipping labels, boxing products with dry ice per packaging regulations, and handling returned merchandise.
Conduct physical inventory counts and replenish stock from backup locations as needed.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment and contribute to quality improvement efforts.
Complete required administrative tasks, including preparing shipping reports and correspondence.
Assist with production tasks as needed and perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Experience: Fork truck experience preferred (certification will be provided).
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently lift and move up to 25 lbs.
- Regularly lift and move up to 60 lbs.
- Rarely lift items over 60 lbs.
- Comfortable working with noxious or hazardous chemicals (appropriate PPE provided).

Working Conditions:
This role involves frequent physical activity, including lifting, moving, and operating tools in a warehouse setting. Candidates may occasionally be required to wear protective clothing or equipment, such as gloves, freezer jackets, protective eyewear, and footwear.
