Job Description


Exegistics is seeking a Logistics Customer Service Agent - Transportation (CSR) for our valued manufacturing client in the S. Milwaukee, WI area.

We are seeking an experienced customer-centric logistics agent to act as a liaison between our valued customers, internal departments, and external partners and to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the supply chain process -from order placement, production, delivery, and beyond.

SOME KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Review customer purchase orders, terms and conditions, and validate with our CRM, ERP, and internal databases.
  • Translate, manage, and validate data supplied from quotes for order entry.
  • Manage and execute orders for global accounts.Forecast management, including customer forecast entry, strategic forecasting models and alignment.
  • Analyze forecasting issues for resolution and enhance preparation for production within the company. Provide outstanding support to internal and external stakeholders that aligns with internal standards.
  • Interact with the global organization to communicate customer requirements.
  • Work with Master Scheduling, Production, Subsidiaries, and Shipping to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders and accuracy or orders
  • Communicate with customers and sales any changes that may impact the schedule.
  • Complete international shipping documentation per regulation by import country.
  • Initiate, follow and complete projects within a set timeline.
  • Travel to customer(s) and company locations as required (less than 5% annually).

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field and 1–2 years of experience in customer service or operations with responsibility for forecasting and managing customer demand; or 5–7 years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong multi-tasking, project management, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Experience with Atlas and Demantra systems a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated professionalism with customers and suppliers.
